10 Tips for Improving Productivity ๐
1. Stop multi-tasking - you only have 2 hands. You're not an octopus.๐๐ Doing more than one thing at once is not productive. Focus on one thing and finish it before starting another task. This way you can give your full attention to the task and get better results. ๐
2. Set small goals - sometimes, our goals are huge that we get intimidated. We don't know how to start.๐คGet those big goals and divide them into small manageable goals. Write the step by step process to get that goal. Those steps are your mini goals. ๐ช
3. Take a break -โฐrest is productive. Refreshing your mind and body will give you an renewed surge of energy and positivity.๐ชTake small breaks in between tasks.
4. The five-minute rule - if you don't wanna do a task, try doing it for 5 minutes with hyper focus.๐๏ธYou will be into the task and the next thing you know, you're doing it for real. ๐
5. Use time block - work on a task for 1 hour and set a break in between. โณ
6. Delegate - ask for help.๐ค It's more productive. Identify tasks that don't need your attention specifically. Look for someone to do them for you.
7. Limit distractions - put your phone away or put it in airport mode.๐Set up a work area where you're not distracted. Follow the Pomodoro technique.
8. Do the hardest thing first - do the hardest thing at the hours when you feel most productive. If you're a morning person, do hard tasks first thing in the morning. If you're a night owl, do it at nights. ๐ฆ
9. Set boundaries - Review your Scope of Work and focus on that.๐Doing things outside your scope is good for learning new skills but they distract you from your real work. Set clear boundaries so you can be productive in your work. ๐
10. Identify when you're most productive - Work at your peak times to maximize productivity. ๐ค
