👑In 2021, I started posting some helpful posts on my personal Instagram account. 3 months later, someone messaged me to ask if I would be interested to give a lecture for design students. They told me they liked my posts. ❤️
I said yes.

It was free and time-consuming but here's what I learned from that experience 👇🏼

1. It took me 2 weeks to prepare a presentation for a 1.5-hour lecture. We are underpaying our teachers.

2. I know a lot of useless rubbish I had to force myself to trim my presentations to fit the time limit. It's so hard to reduce all your knowledge to a 1.5-hour lecture. We are underpaying our teachers. ‼️

3. It took me 2 days to simplify my presentation for students and to make it more "groovy" so I sound less technical. We are underpaying our teachers!

4. It's hard to give a lecture to students who don't react, reply or recite. How do teachers continue talking without seeing reactions? And they do it every day? 😦

5. I love it when students ask questions. It's exhilarating to know that they are listening and they understand the subject. This is probably why teachers continue what they do.

I got invited to give a second lecture so I probably did a good job. 😊
